Virtual “Scriptural Reflection and Rosary” at St. Joseph Healthcare

You are invited to participate in a weekly conference call on Saturday mornings from 9-10 a.m. ET.  At that time, Fr. Robert Tumwekwase, our Priest Chaplain at St. Joseph Hospital, presents a reflection on the Scripture readings from that Sunday’s Mass.  Afterwards, participants on the call join in praying the Rosary.

Celebrating IV Nurses Day – January 25th

IV nurses are essential in the coordination of care for patients.  From inserting intravenous lines to PICC lines and the education/maintenance of these lines to provide short and long term treatment for patients.   They are an integral part of the healthcare team and support healing through evidence based practice. 

COVID-19 Vaccine Update

On January 13, 2021 Governor Mills announced state-wide plans to begin COVID-19 vaccinations for individuals who are 70 years of age and older as soon as February 1. At this time, we do not have a timeline or specific details as to when St. Joseph Hospital will receive vaccine from the Maine CDC to support vaccinating patients.
