Mass Returns to St. Joseph Chapel

Mass Returns to St. Joseph Chapel

Sunday, July 11 marked an important day for St. Joseph Chapel. For the first time in more than a year, we welcomed staff and community members back into the chapel for in-person Mass. Though it looked a little different, with several COVID precautions in place and limited seating, it offered the same important opportunity to worship.

We were pleased to welcome 25 people at our first Mass. Those in attendance expressed how elated they were to return to in-person fellowship—and we were glad to see these familiar faces too. Among these faces were many of the same volunteers who returned to assist with mass once again.

“For many of these individuals, coming to the St. Joseph Chapel to worship on Sunday was a ritual they held close to their hearts. We are so glad to be able to invite them back to resume these rituals,” shared Veronica Marchese, VP of Mission Integration.

Along with Sunday Mass, we’re pleased to open our Chapel for weekday services. For decades, it has been our privilege to worship and engage in fellowship with the community. We are so pleased to celebrate this milestone and return to this practice. The Chapel also remains a quiet place for prayer, meditation, and rest 24/7 for staff and all who come to St. Joe’s.

Welcome back to the St. Joseph Chapel!
